The Estate

Wonderful estate in the middle of the Medoc vineyards, the Château Lagrange represents 113 hectares of vines of the Saint-Julien Appellation. Château Lagrange produces wine since the XIXth century and was classified 3rd Grand Cru in 1855
Château Lagrange produces several wines: Château Lagrange, Les fiefs de Lagrange, Les Arums de Lagrange or the Haut-Médoc de Lagrange.

The wine matures 12 months in 100% French oak barrels.
The vintage 2012 is very precise and offers a very franc garnet red colour. On the nose it reveals delicious notes of red fruits offering a nice freshness and hints of precious wood and vanilla giving a little complexity to the whole. It is franc and voluptuous on the mouth with a nice freshness that can be smelt through subtle notes of spring herbs. Intense notes of red-currant and sour cherry can also be tasted. Tannins are discreet, light and crispy intensifying the digestibility of a wine that offers immediate pleasure. A wine to enjoy now.
