Today two of his sons go on cultivating the domain of 38.5 hectares. The soil of Château Coutet is clayey and chalky. The vineyard is composed at 75% of Sémillon, 23 % Sauvignon and 2 % Muscadelle and is 35 years old. Wine is raised for 16 to 18 months in barrel and for 80% in new wooden barrel.
