This famous French wine produced on the sun drenched hills between Macon and Lyon is a media star every November when it first hits the market as Beaujolais Nouveau. And everybody loves it! Lots of vibrant colour, no harsh tannins, enough acidity to make your mouth water and bags of fruit. While Beaujolais is very easy to quaff in its everyday form, the 10 Beaujolais crus on the region's limestone hills produce rather more sophisticated cuvées that are fuller, riper and more powerful.
