Description of this Champagne

95/100 Parker

The Grande Dame cuvee pays tribute to Mrs. Clicquot. This cuvee is made with 8 historical Great Growths from the house of Clicquot.
The blend is made with 64% of Pinot Noir which gives strength and which is the accurate picture of the Veuve Clicquot savoir-faire. The delicacy and softness is given by the Chardonnay (36%), giving a feminine touch and finesse to the wine.
The wine is very aromatic and complexe (brioche, white flowers, oak, cristalized citrus fruits). It is gracious, pure, well-balanced and onctuous.
