Bodegas Chandon, the Argentinean subsidiary of Chandon Estates is located in Mendoza in the foothills of the Andes, where the grapes are planted at an altitude of over 1,000 meters - one of the highest vineyards in the world! Roberto de la Mota is the winemaker in charge of these mountain grapes. On this magnificent estate with its superlative views and delightful countryside, he presides over some of the world's best known grape varieties, in particular Malbec, which seems to have found its true home in the Argentinean climate where temperature variation teases out both body and flavour.
