Buying en primeur wine consists in booking a year after the harvest the wine that are being raised at the property. The bottles are shipped 1 to 2 years later.

Today you pay the amount ex tax and without shipping costs. Payment of your en primeur wine is made in two-steps: now you pay for the amount ex-tax and excluding shipping costs. Beginning 2009, once the wines are bottled, you will receive an e-mail (or letter if you do not have an e-mail) when the wines will be available for the VAT, excise duties and shipment costs to pay for.
