Description of this Champagne
Like the arrival of the new century which brought with it an explosion of splendour, excitment and pleasure, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2003, the 67th since the launch of the first Vintage in 1842, is assertive, complexe and mature, distinguished, delightful and mischievous.
Radiant, alluring and impertinent, it dazzles with presence, vitality and confidence. As it asserts its eloquent splendour, it somehow also eludes, drawing you into a dance of aromas and flavours, where intense desire perfectly bonds with fascination.
The robe is golden yellow.
The nose is toasty (almond, hazelnut), slightly acid (grape-fruit, tangerine) with vegetal but sweet hints (rhubarb) and spicy (peppermint). The bouquet is intense with tropical fruit aromas (peach, mango) and sweetness (honeysuckle, hawthorn).
Blend= Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 34%, Pinot Meunier 16%.
