Description of this Valle de Uco
In the valley of Uco, on the bottom of the mountain chain of the Andes, at an altitude of 1100 m, the family Bonnie – the owner of the Château Malartic Lagravière - bought 130 hectares of vines in 2005. Then Bodega DiamAndes was born.
The wines from the Bodega DiamAndes have a very beautiful personality based on the typical argentinian vine Malbec. Jean-Jacques Bonnie & the adviser and wine-maker Michel Rolland think that the philosophy of the wines from DiamAndes are based on a simple and unique concept: "we treat the grape like a fruit", that means with all the delicacy that the hand a human being and modern technology can offer.
The argentinian Rosé from Malartic is composed of 82% Malbec and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The fruitness of the argentinian Malbec and the elegance of the Bordeaux know-how perfectly come together …
