Description of this Pauillac

This is the second wine of the fifth-growth Grand-Puy Lacoste, made from traditional Bordeaux grape varieties. This fine team never misses in a good vintage, and even if their status as a second wine keeps them from playing in the first division, they were champions in 2000. A deep colour, redcurrant aromas, blackberry and blueberry, combined with a good structure are making this wine a winner.
