Description

The famous label Krug announces the arrival of the Krug Clos du Mesnil 1998, one of the newest references from this legendary vineyard. This champagne is a perfect interpretation of an historical vintage.

The vineyards are situated in the heart of Mesnil-sur-Orge, one of the most prestigious villages in the famous Côte des Blancs. The Clos du Mesnil is an extraordinary “garden”, orientated South-East and stretched out to only 1.85 hectar. The vines enjoy a very ideal microclimate for the cultivation of the noble Chardonnay. Clos du Mesnil is so small that you scarcely need one day to harvest its precious grapes.
