Description of this Côte Rôtie


Mythical wine of the Côte Rôtie, "La Mouline" belongs to the trilogy of the great Côte Rôtie de Guigal.
Steming from 75 year old grapevines, this magnificent cuvée was made with Syrah and de Viognier.
Unfortunately, there were only 5000 bottles produced and so of course not enough for everybody.That is part of the myth...
Matured 42 months in barrels, "La Mouline" has a ruby red couloured robe with vermilion red tints and red fruits, blackberry and floral aromas.
It is very supple in the mouth and there is a beautiful harmony between the finesse of the aromas and the richness of this wine.
Simply superb...
