Description of this Côte Rôtie

Another exceptional cuvée from the mythical Côtes Rôtie of Guigal is "La Landonne".
Matured 42 months in barrels, made of 100% Syrah and steming from 25 year old grapevines, "La Landonne" has a deep red coloured robe with very dark tints. There are little black fruits, leather, liquorice and oriental spices aromas. This wine already has a remarkable aromatic intensity.
The mouth is powerful with a good tannic structure. This wine has a very long ageing potential.
