Description of this Puligny Montrachet 1er cru

What about the 2009? Charming! This is the most appropriate word that comes when tasting the 2006 Burgundies. After a year spent with a funny weather and 8 months after the harvests, Burgundy is now at its best. 2006 required intense care in the vineyard and during the fermentations too... and the result is astonishing on the whites!
Soft and fresh, they are expressive, fruity and rich.
The 1er Cru "Les Folatières" is made with 100% Chardonnay. The wine is made in oak barrels (30% brand new / 70% 1,2 and 3 y.o.). It is matured on the lees for 11 months.
