Description of this Côte Rôtie

Although Chapoutier is based in Hermitage about 20 km south from the Côte-Rôtie, this most famous house produces one of the very best wines from this reknowned appellation and their 1999 has been awarded by a 95 + in Robert parker wine guide.
The Syrah is here at it's best, showing matured red fruits along with an extraordinary finesse.
Made from a small parcel with very low yields, this is a wine not to be missed, particularly in 2009!
