Description of this Cognac

A descendant of Richard Hennessy asked his cellar master to create a cognac blended from very old eaux de vie specially for his family and friends. Blended from more than 100 different brandies, some from the early part of the 20th century, X.O. has come to embody the finest traditions of Hennessy cognac. The international reputation of this caramel coloured cognac is fully deserved. This rich, full-bodied spirit with its vanilla, chocolaty nose, packed with ripe cherries and sandalwood, is delicate and smooth on the palate with a remarkable length and balance. Aromas of oak and leather combine with the scents of summer flowers and soft fruit. Enjoy it in small sips.
