Description of this Saint-Julien

Château Talbot and Château Gruaud-Larose were considered as the twins of the Bordelais region as they are neighbours and owned by the same company: Cordier. Gruaud has now left Cordier and Talbot is still owned by the Cordier family. This elegant wine is made with a savoir-faire and a quality that makes château Talbot one of the very sought-after Classified Growth. The château owes its name to the Connétable Talbot, an English General.
