The last of the Graves wines remaining in Mérignac, Château Picque-Caillou has become a jewel thanks to the efforts invested in it over the last ten years. Ancient property of the Luchey family, whose wines were favoured by Napoléon 1st, it is now a vineyard of 20 hectares within a perimeter fought over by encroaching building developments. Fine and elegant, with its ruby colour and diamond brilliance. Aromas of cedar and rosewood mark this creation which has been finely crafted by Isabelle and Paulin Calvet since 1997.

The vineyard extends on approximately 20ha. The name of this wine reminds the terroir on which it is made: 'Caillou' means pebble and the Pessac-Léognan appellation is very well-known for its gravely soil.
