Description of this Pauillac

Holding a reputation as a constant solid wine, Château Lynch-Bages produced greatness in 2000, a unique wine with a robust character. This deep purple wine exudes blackcurrant fruits, typical of Cabernet Sauvignon, combined with a strong touch of oak and cloves, cinnamon and coconut. It is surprising to find a wine that even though it is a fifth classified growth leaving even the most jaded wine drinker speechless. Voluptuous in the mouth, its tannins are omnipresent, a thick, soft velour on the palate, a sensation which remains long in the mouth. This wine will benefit from long cellaring.
