Description of this Pauillac

Château Lynch-Bages has become over the stars of Pauillac these past years due to the admirable quality of the winemaking. Jean-Michel Cazes does wonders with his property, as demonstrated by this 1996, which marries power and finesse as easily as any of the first growths. The predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon expresses the terroir from which it comes, as well as spicy and fruity flavours. It is a full-bodied wine, rich on the nose and on the palate, with a considerable potential for ageing. An admirable wine.
