Henri Duboscq makes wines that fascinate thousands of wine drinkers. A determined winemaker with an active character, he had to develop patience and pragmatism to bring together 70 hectares of gravel soils and limestone bedrock with a view on the Gironde estuary. This ideal vineyard site is perfectly suited to Duboscq's inestimable talents. The result of this collaboration between man and terroir is a first class Saint-Estèphe, massive and solid, a well-structured wine that undergoes long vatting and refining in barrels that are replaced every year. Empyreal nuances and silky flavours evolve slowly in the bottle to successfully crown the wines from this exceptional domain.
