This prince of Sauternes could well become one of the unchallenged leaders of the appellation if he continues on his chosen path. Set among an ocean of vines, the valleys of which are reminiscent of a gentle sea swelling to the saving and also often devastating winds. The good ship Guiraud has in its grasp, one of the best Sauternes. The rigorous workmanship, the respect of the natural environment and the pursuit of excellent botrytis, all make this growth one of the most consistent of the last twenty years. All thanks to a Canadian ship owner who took an interest in the property and introduced a young wine maker who has continued to merit his reputation.
