The Château Fombrauge is situated on a south-facing limestone plateau extending over 75 hectares and can claim to be the largest estate in the Saint-Emilion region. The planting is typical for that part of Bordeaux with 70% of Merlot and 30% of Cabernet Sauvignon vines.
This idyllic landscape is completed by a pretty 18th century Carthusian monastery. Château Fombrauge is now under the expert hands of Bernard Magrez.
The 2005 vintage is full, supple and ample. Absolutely beautiful!
