Description of this Saint-Julien

Origins of Château Ducru Beaucaillou go back to the 18th century and more precisely in 1720. It owes its name to the "beautiful and big stones" that are on its soil producing fine and elegant wine.

Ducru Beaucaillou is very famous and does not need to prove it.

The 2009 vintage of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a wine of a beautiful purple robe with purple tints.
The nose is fabulous : a mixture of red berries and black (raspberry, blackberry), with notes of wood and touches of cedar.
The malate is exceptional with well wrapped tannins and a long and tasty final. A great wine!

85% cabernet sauvignon
15% Merlot
