Description of this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
Less than one kilometer from Saint Emilion Bell's tower, on the famous" Pied de côte" exposed to south, Château Angelus is the work of a passion since four generations by Boûard de Laforest's family.
The winegrowing takes its name from a plot of former vineyard located in the heart ,from where the wine growers could listen to the Angelus simultaneously with the three churches of the country: Mazerat's chapel, Saint Martin's and Saint Emilion's churches.
The vintage 2007 expresses a beautiful dark and intense color. In nose, it reveals fresh and delicate notes of small red berries in a very meaning way.
In mouth, the wine presents a beautiful material with different notes such as blackcurrant and woody.
This wine has a beautiful backbone which confers a remarkable length. An excellent wine!!!
