Description of this Chassagne-Montrachet

The Morgeot terroir takes its name from a hamlet close to Chassagne-Montrachet.
A great number of hamlets can be part of the Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot, extending on more than 60ha.
The planted grape varieties are the Chardonnay (for the whites) and the Pinot Noir (for the reds).
The whites are robust and fully riped when aged, very fruity with honey and white flowers aromas when young.
Morgeot is the most famous Chassagne-Montrachet.
