The soil that gives its name
The majestic Graves appellation spreads from the edge of the city of Bordeaux to the Landes forest and from the frontier of the Médoc to that of Sauternes. Encompassing Pessac-Léognan, these two appellations hold within their vineyards new promise for Bordeaux. The perfect terroir for both red and white wines, this is the only appellation whose name is that of its soil structure. Its fresh and fruity wines are vinified by the best of a new generation of wine makers, they are lead by the great Haut-Brion behind which are lined up many fine wines promising sumptuous and fruitful victories.
