Description of this Champagne
This exceptionnal cuvée, produced in 1964 to honour the founder of the Maison, is the fruit of blendings of grand crus issued from the Côte des Blancs (Pinot Noir) and the Montagne de Reims (Chardonnay).
The vinification, in part in traditional barrels, confirms the generous character of this fine, elegant and rich wine.
The cuvée Nicolas François Billecart has a pale golden colour and a very fine mousse. This cuvée has a wonderful olfactory complexity: white flower along with subtle brioche aromas.
In the mouth, the balance between the richness and persistency indicates that this is an accomplished wine.
The perfect blending of the grands crus gives a nice freshness and develops a large range of aromas.
