Description of this Rioja

The wine Baron de Chirel appears in 1986 thanks to an experimental vinification from a selection of very ancient vine varieties, of more than 30 years old of age, with a very low yield and of high quality.
From 1995, Riscal selects manually the grapes for this great wine thanks to the installation of a table of selection. Riscal was the first bodega ever to introduce this system.
The Baron de Chirel, having a strong reputation both on the national and international level, will charm you. It is a dense wine, with a beautiful aromatic richness of spices. In the mouth, it is very powerful with a supple tannic structure. There are grilled and spicy aromas also on the nose that we also find in the mouth.
It is a superb wine of a great quality.
